Guatemalan Campana Bags
This bag is a simple representation of the work of Mayan backstrap weavers from the community of San Juan La Laguna on Lake Atitan in Guatemala. Their work represents a revival of the equisitely beautiful and time consuming tradition of ikot dying. Material is intricately woven with first quality colorfast cotton thread ensuring quality of design for years to come. The campana bag is named so after its bell like shape. Each bag is internally lined and reinforced with solid color cotton cloth. Features include an inside zipper pouch for organizing smaller items and an adjustable shoulder strap.
